July 31st. is Harry Potter’s 34th. birthday and beginning Monday, May 28th. I’m planning a month long preparation beginning with Hogwarts House Bags. Available in Red/Gryffindor, Dark Grey/Slytherin, Yellow/Hufflepuff, Blue/Ravenclaw and Black/Hogwarts. All include a fantastic Hogwarts House lining and are in my Road Trip bag design. But before you grab one head on over to Pottermore and get sorted into the right house.
Legend has it that the famous Hogwarts Sorting Hat once belonged to one of the four founders of Hogwarts, Godric Gryffindor, and that it was enchanted by all four founders and used to sort students into their houses.
The Sorting Hat is one of the cleverest enchanted objects. It literally contains the intelligence of the four founders, can speak and is skilled at ‘Legilimency’, which enables it to look into the wearer’s head and see his or her capabilities. It can even respond to the thoughts of the wearer.*
