On April 25th the second season of the Handmaid’s Tale will be returning to Hulu. Praise Be. I don’t know about you but it seems like I have been waiting for this forever. I love this show and if you promise not to tell my husband I’ll let you in on a little secret. (Under his eye) I subscribed to Hulu for the sole purpose of being able to watch this show. Yes, if it wasn’t for The Handmaid’s Tale I would have no reason to keep this streaming channel that we barely watch.
I haven’t read the book although it is on my to read list the show has me mesmerized. The world of Gilead is just so different from other dystopian era books and movies. It just fascinates me how such a civilization could come to be.
Anyway, your not here to listen to me ramble on about the dystopian world of Gilead. Your here because I mentioned bags and yarn inspired by The Handmaid’s Tale in the title. I gotcha!
Yes, I was so inspired by the show that I created a bag and a brand new colorway.
Don’t Let the Bastardes Grind You Down
These are in the shop now and being sold separately so you can choose the bag and/or the yarn. But they won’t be in there long. I only have a few of these and once they are gone I don’t know that I will be able to bring them back. So grab yours and be ready to knit up something dystopian inspired.
You know where you’ll find me on April 25th. Finally logging into Hulu after a long hiatus.
Happy making and alway…
Carry a little joy wherever you go.
